Eleven Master Gunnery Sergeants and Two Master Sergeants converged to celebrate the end of the line for MGySgt Vincent Quinteros…who may or may not have been the namesake of my second son.
It was awesome to get together with fellow Marines last night to train Jiu Jitsu with my sons. I’ve had the pleasure to all over the world but this sweet spot in Stafford, VA known as @koateambjj and led by Kelly Grissom (far left) is a special place. Thanks, Kelly for opening your home to our family. There’s no better place to practice maneuver warfare!

I couldn’t have asked a for better experience at a more perfect time. It’s been way to long since I’ve had the opportunity to do some real training on the mats. I’m grateful to see all the familiar faces and meet new jiujiteiros here at the @originusa Immersion Camp. Last year was understandably canceled. Fortunately, this will serve as an accelerant as I return to the mats with a completely different perspective on the role BJJ has played in my physical & emotional well-being. #oss

Dunk’s Almanac - Old fashioned observations for the modern military leader

This is only the first chapter from Dunk’s Almanac on Leadership. I will work to scan the rest of the titles and continue to engage with MCA to encourage them to republish. This is priceless material and should be preserved for future generations. Fortitudine.
